Under the flagship “Elevate” program, the Govt of Karnataka picked up 100 most innovative start-ups after following through a four-layered selection process. These startups will get a funding support from the government to pursue their tech-ideas and scale them up. Iosynth was along the selected startups for its innovative novel enzyme technology on racemase.
BIG is flagship programme of BIRAC, which provides the right admixture of fuel and support to young startups and entrepreneurial individuals. It is the largest early stage biotech funding programme in India. In 2018, Iosynth was along the selected startups awarded with a BIG grant for an innovative biocatalytic technology for micafungin.
Iosynth Labs Pvt Ltd, India’s leading biocatalysis application company, announced today the closure of a funding round with Zenfold Ventures LLP (Hyderabad). The parties agreed to keep the amount and terms of the funding confidential. The financing will be used to fund Iosynth’s strategic expansion plans to produce selected chemicals and intermediates using Iosynth’s deep insights into biocatalysis, fermentation, and chemistry. Mr. Arun Dubey, Managing Partner at Zenfold Ventures will join Iosynth’s board of directors.
